The Texas Association of Counties Workers' Compensation Self-Insurance Fund's Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve The JI Companies, an Austin-based risk management and employee benefits company, to serve as the new claims services partner for TAC's workers' compensation program. JI will be responsible for claims coordination and administration for the 284 counties and special districts that comprise the Fund membership, representing over $1.2 billion annual payroll and $35 million annual premium.
