Associated Press reports that a Logan County, KY, forklift operator received a $370,000 verdict from a federal jury on a claim that he was wrongfully terminated after filing a work comp claim.Gregory N. Bullard sustained a neck injury in August 1999. He had been working at Logan Aluminum for five years at the time. The jury in U.S. District Court in Bowling Green, KY took just six hours to conclude that Bullard was entitled to $250,000 for mental anguish, embarrassment and humiliation, and $120,400 for loss of income and benefits.
