The Virginia Senate has all but killed a bill yesterday that would have limited workers' compensation benefits for illegal immigrants in Virginia.
On a voice vote, the Senate sent House Bill 2056 to a Senate committee that does not meet again this session.
The measure would have limited benefits to only medical treatment for illegal immigrants and would have denied vocational rehabilitation benefits them.When the bill was filed, its sponsor, Kathy J.
