On behalf of Pennsylvania Gov. Edward G. Rendell, Secretary of Labor and Industry Stephen M. Schmerin yesterday announced the appointment of Joseph Rafferty of Doylestown, Bucks County, as a member of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry's Workers' Compensation Appeal Board. He will serve on the board until January 2007.
"With more than 20 years of executive and administrative experience, Joseph brings a wealth of knowledge to the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board," Secretary Schmerin said. "I am fully confident he will provide quality service to the board."
