XL Capital Names Mark Callahan Chief Actuarial Officer

XL Capital Ltd (NYSE: XL) Friday announced the appointment of Mr. Mark W. Callahan as Chief Actuarial Officer of XL's Insurance Operations. Mr. Callahan, previously a senior underwriter for XL Financial Solutions, XL's alternative risk transfer group, will be based in Hartford and will report to Dick Miller, Chief Financial Officer of XL's Insurance Operations.
