Kelly Services Reports Decline Due to WC Costs

Kelly Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: KELYA, KELYB), a global provider of staffing services, yesterday announced sales and earnings results for the second quarter ended June 29, 2003. Net earnings for the second quarter of 2003 totaled $1.5 million, compared to $3.9 million reported for the second quarter of 2002. Net earnings for the first six months of 2003 totaled $1.8 million, compared to the $4.7 million earned during the comparable six- month period in 2002.
