The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has recommended that workplaces not only become tobacco-free, but also rid themselves of e-cigarettes.
The institute suggested in a Thursday press release that employers ban smoking on company property and provide cessation programs to workers who smoke. That should include e-cigarettes, which contain nicotine but produce a vapor instead of smoke.
