Democratic Senators Say Board Overstepped Authority on Impairment Guidelines

Two leading state Senate Democrats said they are “very concerned” that the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board’s draft impairment guidelines will cut worker benefits and not improve medical outcomes. In a Monday letter to board Chair Clarissa M. Rodriguez, Sens. Marisol Alcantara, D-New York City, chairwoman of the Senate Labor Committee, and Diane J.
