Bill Would Exempt Volunteers at VFW and Other 501(c)(3)s From Workers' Compensation

A bill to exempt volunteer workers at tax-exempt organizations like veterans groups from the workers’ compensation system passed the state House Thursday. “It’s basically just adding volunteers for Veteran’s Associations and the Veterans of Foreign Wars on the exemption list on workers’ compensation,” said Rep.
