Steel Construction Company Fined $266,416 for Persistent Safety Violations

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration levied $266,416 in fines on a Texas steel construction company that allegedly failed to address hazards and violations dating back to 2011. OSHA said an inspection of a building site in Cypress in February found Sonny Steel Erectors Inc. failed to provide adequate fall protection to its workers.
