Metal Fabricator Fined $82,600 for Crushing Hazards

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited a Colorado metal fabricator for 13 violations and proposed fines of $82,600 following an investigation into an accident in which a worker lost his leg.OSHA said G2K Corp., operating as GBI Inc. in Lakewood, failed to use an approved lifting device to attach a load to the hook of a crane.
