The California Division of Workers’ Compensation announced Wednesday that it has adjusted the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule.
The division said the changes conform to fourth-quarter 2017 changes in the Medicare payment system and are required by Labor Code section 5307.1.
The order is effective for services rendered on or after Oct. 1. The revision adopts the Medicare DMEPOS Quarter 4, 2017, DME17-D ZIP file.
