State Workplace Safety Regulators Launch Heat Illness Program

The Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health implemented a statewide emphasis program aimed at mitigating heat-related illnesses and injuries in the workplace. The agency said the program emphasizes water, rest, shade and written plans for reducing the risk for heat-related issues among workers.
