Public Hearing to Be Held on Changes to Medical Fee Schedules

Proposed decreases in the Medicare-based fees for hospital outpatient services would cost providers $7.5 million next year, the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation says. Proposed changes to the ambulatory surgical center fees would increase reimbursements by $425,000, while fees for medical and professional services would cost providers about $311,000 for the next year, the BWC said.
