Zenith National Insurance Corp. (NYSE:ZNT) reported an operating loss after tax of $22.0 million, or $1.25 per share, for the third quarter of 2001 compared to an operating loss after tax of $5.1 million, or $0.30 per share, for the third quarter of 2000.
Operating loss after tax for the nine months ended September 30, 2001 was $20.5 million, or $1.17 per share, compared to an operating loss after tax of $30.5 million, or $1.78 per share, for the nine months ended September 30, 2000.
