Zurich Settles 'Pay-to-Play' Probe With 9 States

Zurich American Insurance Co. will refund Florida customers to settle bid-rigging and price-fixing allegations, under a nine-state $170 million settlement agreement announced today. The Florida refunds will be paid to businesses, non-profit organizations and governmental entities that were victimized, the state Chief Financial Officer Tom Gallagher said.
