A Massachusetts jail guard faces a workers' compensation fraud charge after allegedly continuing to work at a store he owned while collecting disability benefits, the Salem News reported over the weekend.
Michael A. Pelonzi, 42, of Beverly, Mass., pleaded not guilty to one count each of workers' compensation fraud and felony larceny at his arraignment in Boston Municipal Court on Friday, the newspaper said.
