Bill Zachry, workers' compensation program manager for Safeway Inc., has been reappointed to Fraud Assessment Commission, a panel that doles out fraud-fighting grants to county district attorneys' offices.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger announced the appointment of the 51-year-old Zachry to the commission on Tuesday.
Zachry has served on the commission since 1998 and is currently chairman. He has been serving at the pleasure of the governor since his initial term on the commission expired in 2003.
Zachry is vice president of corporate workers' compensation for Safeway Inc.
