Zenith V. Interpreters Hearing Delayed Until January

The showdown case between Zenith Insurance Co. and workers' compensation interpreters has been delayed until Jan. 13, hearing representative Chris Alcala said Thursday. Zenith contends that neither Labor Code Section 4600 nor Labor Code Section 9795 require carriers to reimburse for interpreting services during treatment visits and is seeking $3,000 that it said was paid erroneously to L.A. Language.
