Zurich Financial Services Group said Monday it is negotiating with other states to resolve the same broker-commission and insurance-placement issues that resulted in a $172 million settlement agreement previously announced.
Zurich American Insurance Co. announced Monday it has reached settlements with California, Florida, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas and West Virginia. The company said in a press release that it is negotiating settlements with other states, as well, but it did not identify them.
