Zinc Manufacturer Faces $186K Fine After Burn Incident

The Pittsburgh regional office of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has issued citations and proposed penalties of $186,750 to a zinc manufacturer where an employee suffered a serious burn. Horsehead Corp. of Monaca, Pa., was written up for alleged safety and health violations. The zinc manufacturer employs 650 workers at its Monaca facility.
