The Kentucky Office of Insurance (KOI) has scheduled a public meeting on Aug. 26 to discuss the contents of a filing from an advisory organization expected to be used by most carriers to develop rates for workers' compensation insurance. The meeting will be held at 2 p.m. in the KOI Hearing Room at 215 W. Main St., Frankfort.
Representatives from the National Council on Compensation Insurance Inc. (NCCI) will discuss its recent loss costs filing. The filing requests an average increase of 7.1 percent for non-coal classes and a 10.2 percent average increase for coal classes.
