Zapala Appointed to Funds Board of Trustees

The Michigan Workers' Compensation Agency reported that Gov. Jennifer Granholm appointed Richard F. Zapala to the Funds Administration board of trustees. The board oversees the Self-Insurers' Security Fund, Second Injury Fund, and the Silicosis, Dust Disease and Logging Industry Compensation Fund. Zapala is the assistant general counsel at the Accident Fund Insurance Co. of America and will represent the insurance industry in Michigan for a term expiring April 30, 2010.
