The Twelfth District of the Texas Court of Appeals held that merely showing knowledge of workers' compensation claim is insufficient to establish causal connection to support employee's retaliation claim. In Stevenson v. Tyson Foods, Inc., No. 12-04-00035-CV, 03/24/2005, Stevenson suffered compensable injuries under the Texas Workers' Compensation Act during his employment with Tyson Foods, Inc. (Tyson), and filed a workers' compensation claim.
