Lawmakers Want Federal Action on Workers' Comp

Concerned about a reported shift in workers’ compensation costs to public programs such as Social Security Disability Income, a group of 10 Democratic lawmakers is asking for greater federal oversight of states’ workers’ compensation programs. The 10 lawmakers outlined their concerns in a letter Tuesday to U.S. Labor Secretary Thomas Perez.
