Another effort to bring a prescription drug monitoring database to Missouri – the last state in the nation without one – is likely in 2015.
Rep. Kevin Engler, R-Farmington, who has introduced PDMP legislation in the General Assembly’s last several sessions, said in an interview Tuesday that he anticipates another attempt to bring Missouri into line with all 49 other states that have enacted a prescription drug database. New Hampshire, previously the only other state without a PDMP, left Missouri as the only holdout when a database measure was signed into law in 2012.
