The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health has fined eight employers more than $265,000 for COVID-19 violations following inspections at meat-processing plants in Southern and Central California, the agency announced.
Cal/OSHA said inspectors visited the plants after receiving reports of one COVID-19-related fatality and several illnesses.
