Injured workers in Nevada who have to travel for medical appointments this year will be reimbursed at a rate of 56 cents per mile, the Workers’ Compensation Section announced.
The standard mileage reimbursement rate decreased, effective Jan. 1, from last year’s rate of 57.5 cents per mile.
Reimbursement rates for the costs that state workers incur while using a private vehicle for official state business dropped to 56 cents per mile from 57.5 cents at the start of the year. Injured workers are reimbursed at the same rate as state workers.
