Progressive Medical and StoneRiver Pharmacy Solutions announced Friday the launch of a product that the companies say enables carriers and employers gain financial and clinical control of workers’ compensation prescriptions that are submitted online without a medication card.The companies said the system works this way: When pharmacies are unable to identify the appropriate payer, they submit prescriptions associated with Progressive Medical clients’ workers’ compensation prescription claims to StoneRiver, which transmits an immediate, real-time alert to Progressive Medical. ...
