DWC Adopts Rules on Lifetime Income Benefits

The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation adopted rules addressing lifetime income benefits to implement legislation enacted last year. Lawmakers in 2023 passed HB 2468, requiring a person to have a major, permanent neurocognitive disorder and need occasional supervision of routine daily tasks of self-care to qualify for lifetime income benefits.
