California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed an executive order modifying the quarantine periods spelled out in emergency rules the Division of Occupational Safety and Health adopted at the end of November. Newsom’s executive order, which took effect Dec. 14, modifies quarantine requirements in Cal/OSHA’s emergency rules with quarantine guidance from the state Department of Public Health.
