Sugarman Takes Over as Director of Comp for San Francisco

Peggy Sugarman, former chief deputy administrative director of the California Division of Workers’ Compensation, has taken over as the director of workers’ compensation for the City and County of San Francisco.Sugarman returned to public service on Oct. 9 after 12 years of working as an advocate for injured workers and, most recently, as a workers’ compensation defense firm educator.
