An Ohio printing facility received multiple safety citations from the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration after a worker suffered an amputation, and another worker’s finger was fractured in a printing press.
The amputation occurred in September at Quad Graphics in Columbus, according to OSHA, followed by the finger fracture four days later.
In addition, OSHA’s review of the employer’s injury and illness logs found that several workers had suffered hearing loss, the agency said.
