The U.S. Department of Labor has proposed more than $264,000 in fines for a Montana manufacturer and staffing agency after a worker suffered a partial finger amputation, according to a news release from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
OSHA said it cited Western Bee Supplies Inc. and its staffing contractor, LC Staffing Service, for several “serious and willful violations.”
Western Bee Supplies was fined for failing to control hazardous energy, failing to test workers for hearing damage and not reporting the finger amputation within 24 hours, OSHA said...
