Jay Cohen to Retire From Mullen & Filippi

California workers’ compensation defense firm Mullen & Filippi announced that senior partner Jay Cohen will retire at the end of the year. Cohen will end his 39-year legal carrier, which included 36 years in work comp, effective Dec. 31. Cohen’s legal accomplishments include facilitating the 2004 state Supreme Court decision in Department of Rehabilitation v. WCAB (Lauher).
