Board Sets Assessment Rate at 2.66%

The administrative fund assessment rate for insurers will increase slightly in the new fiscal year that starts July 1, according to information posted to the Maine Workers’ Compensation Board website. The board adopted an assessment rate of 2.66% for fiscal year 2022, up from 2.63% for fiscal year 2021. Assessment letters for insurers and self-insured employers have been mailed and payments are due July 9.
