A former insurance agent convicted of stealing premiums from customers has been sentenced to more than two years in prison, the Arizona Department of Insurance said.
Rosita Johns, 47, was sentenced in Maricopa County Superior Court last month, more than four years after investigators became aware of her scheme, the department said in a news release.
Johns faces two and a half years in prison and four years of probation for committing fraud and forgery en route to stealing tens of thousands of dollars in premiums, the department said.
