California’s largest newspaper tackled cumulative trauma claims with a front-page article Sunday, but observers said they don’t expect any late-session bills on the subject this year.
The article that ran above the fold on the cover of the Los Angeles Times on Sunday describes two cumulative trauma claims filed by firefighters, and a third filed by a police officer.
Despite seeking what the paper called “big payouts” for their injuries, two of the claimants were able to continue activities that included scuba diving.
