The California Division of Workers’ Compensation issued an order updating the drug list in the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule, effective Feb. 1.
The order updating the formulary drug list adopts changes based on the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Practice Guidelines, published by Reed Group.
One change includes new recommendations addressed in the guidelines for antiemetics, medications that are used to treat vomiting and nausea.
