The California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board issued two en banc decisions on Tuesday reinstating rules it suspended in March and April.
The Appeals Board reinstated a rule allowing dismissal of an application or lien claim for failure to appear, which was temporarily suspended by a March 18 en banc decision.
The reinstatement takes effect immediately, the WCAB said in Case No. Misc. No. 264.
At the same time, the WCAB, in Case No. Misc. No. 265, reinstated the 20-day requirement for filing documentary trial exhibits that was suspended in April.
