Court Upholds Determination That Injured Trucker Was Independent Contractor

A Nebraska appellate court upheld a determination that a truck driver was an independent contractor who was not entitled to benefits for injuries from a motor vehicle accident. Oscar Cajiao suffered injuries in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Nov. 2, 2017, while he was driving a semi-tractor trailer leased by Arga Transport Inc.
