Foundry Cited for Dozens of Safety Violations

A metal foundry and casting company in Walla Walla faces a $93,600 fine for more than 40 safety and health violations, the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries announced. L&I said its inspection found Walla Walla Foundry Inc. violated rules requiring planning and hazard assessment and also failed to provide required safety training or protective equipment to workers.
