Vehicle-Crash Claims a 'Cause for Concern,' NCCI Says

A workers’ comp lost-time claim involving a head or brain injury costs on average about $70,000, but if the injury was sustained in a motor vehicle accident, the average cost is much higher, at roughly $130,000, according to a new report. The same trend applies to injuries to other parts of the body, says the report from the National Council on Compensation Insurance.
