State Cites Walmart for Additional COVID Safety Violations

Nevada workplace safety regulators fined Walmart $12,145 for violations of COVID-19 health and safety requirements at a store in Las Vegas. The state Occupational Safety and Health Administration also announced that it fined a Plant World store in Las Vegas $4,858 for similar violations. “The citations were issued after officials observed noncompliance with one or more requirements of general and industry-specific guidance and directive during both an initial observation and a follow-up visit by division officials,” the state said.
