Workers’ compensation defense firm Gilson Daub promoted Derek Turbin to managing partner of its Hawaii office.
Turbin has played an integral role in establishing the firm’s presence and increasing caseloads in Hawaii since he joined in 2019, Gilson Daub said.
Before joining Gilson Daub, Turbin was a staff attorney on the Judiciary Committee of the Hawaii State Legislature. He also worked as an associate attorney with Hanna Brophy, Dietz, Gilmor & Chazen, and Ellis Law Corp.
Turbin received his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
