The California Division of Workers’ Compensation said it will disapprove of medical provider network listings that include the names of non-professional organizations, management services, scheduling and coordinating companies, cost-containment firms or other non-provider entities.
The division on Wednesday said in a Newsline that it has received questions about the types of entities or companies that can be included in an MPN directory. The directory lists licensed physicians and ancillary providers that an injured worker could select for medical treatment.
