The California Division of Workers’ Compensation will hold a public hearing Jan. 21 on a proposed update to the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule.
The division is proposing to incorporate the Oct. 22, 2021, revisions that the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine made to the “Initial Approaches to Treatment” section of its treatment guidelines. The MTUS currently includes the June 30, 2017, edition of this section.
Written comments can be submitted through Jan. 21.
