Alliant Acquires Mesirow Insurance Services

Chicago-based Mesirow Financial has agreed to sell its insurance division to Alliant Insurance Services. Mesirow Insurance Services will join the Alliant Americas division, the companies announced on Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded in 1972, Mesirow Insurance Services is a full-service insurance brokerage and consultant specializing in property and casualty insurance, employee benefits, life and disability, private client insurance and structured settlements.
