The Illinois Appellate Court ruled that a circuit court erred in dismissing an interlocutory appeal from a Workers’ Compensation Commission decision. Case: Heberlein v. IWCC, No. 4-22-0765WC, 01/27/2026, unpublished. Facts and procedural history: Ruth Ann Heberlein worked for Homecare Medical Equipment. She filed workers’ compensation claims for injuries she allegedly sustained on two dates in 1999.
