Court Upholds PPD, Medical Expense Awards to Injured Worker

The Illinois Appellate Court ruled that a worker’s permanent partial disability and medical expense awards were not against the manifest weight of the evidence in her case. Case: Reyes v. IWCC, No. 1-21-0855WC, 09/23/2022, unpublished. Facts: Amalia Reyes worked for Labor Temps, a staffing agency. In November 2012, Labor sent her to work at a company called Freedom in Aurora, Illinois.
